This notice explains what personal information Allied Insurance Company (Pvt) Ltd collects through this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
Allied Insurance Company (Pvt) Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Our office is at 52 Somerset Drive, Eastlea, Harare, Zimbabwe. For any question about your information, or to make any of the requests below, contact us at info@alliedinsurancecompany.co.zw or call 0242 764330.
We do not collect anything else, and we do not buy or sell personal information.
The quote and contact forms on this site do not store your details on a server. When you send an enquiry, the form opens your own WhatsApp or email app with the details filled in, and you send it to us directly. Your message then sits in Allied's WhatsApp or email inbox, the same as any message you send us.
We use what you send only to respond to you, to prepare a quote, and to run Allied Insurance. Where the law asks for a lawful basis, ours is your consent when you choose to contact us, and our legitimate interest in replying and keeping the site working.
We keep your information within Allied Insurance and the service providers that run the site for us: our website host (Cloudflare Pages) and our privacy-first analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). They process data on our instructions only. Where we place specialist cover such as cyber, we work with licensed insurance and reinsurance partners, and we share only what is needed to arrange your cover. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
This site sets no cookies. It uses analytics that store nothing on your device, so there is nothing for you to accept and you will not see a cookie banner. For the full detail, see our cookie notice.
We keep what you send for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and to serve you, then we remove it. Visit analytics are aggregate and are not tied to you.
Under Zimbabwe's data-protection law, you can ask us to:
Email info@alliedinsurancecompany.co.zw and we will act on it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ), the data-protection authority under the Cyber and Data Protection Act (Chapter 12:07).
The site runs on reputable hosting over HTTPS, so traffic between you and the site is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send.
The site and its analytics are served from Cloudflare, which operates a global network, so data may be processed on servers outside Zimbabwe. These providers maintain recognised data-protection safeguards.
If we change how the site handles data, we update this notice and change the date at the top.
